Some are injured or weak, some are simply surplus male chicks, therefore, they cannot make a profit for the egg industry, so they are thrown away like garbage. Is this who we are? Is this humanity? This is the reality behind egg production. Most male chicks are considered as “useless”. Many are ground up alive or thrown in the trash alive…this suffering is what we produce by consuming eggs.
